Stress!

Stress is a mental or emotional strain which is caused from extreme pressure or tension. Stressing is the way that your body tells you that enough is enough and it just can't take anymore. Stress puts pressure on you mentally and physically. There are so many different things that can cause stress. The list is endless, and what may be stressful to you may not be stressful to me; everyone is different and everyone handles stress very differently. Some people can be stressed out when there is a major change in their life, like losing a job or starting a new school.

Whether young or old, stress effects everyone. You can't run from it because it will eventually catch you at some point in time, and when it does, it can really suck.

Some people will yell at you or even laugh at you when they see the things that you allow to stress you out, but remember that no two people are the same. Everyone responds differently to many situations in life. Some people, when they face a breakup, shut down and don't talk or eat; while others will cry today or even tomorrow, and then move right along with their lives. Just because I don't deal with my stress in the same way you do doesn't mean that something is wrong with me.

Stress is a very serious thing it can make a person sick physically and it can even lead to other mental illnesses such as depression. It also can lead to you developing emotions, such as anger or sadness. It can even lead to more serious things, such as heart attack, thinking and memory issues or even anxiety.

It is scary to know what can happen when we allow ourselves to stress out, but it is really hard not to stress about something.

Pressure at work… this can cause stress.

Getting in a fight with a loved one… this can cause stress.

An exam or test… this can cause stress.

When you're stressed, it is close to impossible to perform at your full capacity. Stress tends to capture your mind and body.

I know it is hard to fight back stress, but there are ways to handle stress instead of letting stress capture you.

Don't embrace it, kick it to the curb.

It will creep upon you and slowly take you over.

Don't let it win.

YOU CAN BEAT IT!

Exercising is a very good way to get rid of stress. Exercising helps you to feel better and it makes the blood circulate. It can distract you from whatever is stressing you.

Even dancing works them same way as exercising. That is why it is so good for you to just get on the move.

Listening to positive, uplifting songs can help you to beat stress. It changes those negative thoughts that accumulated in your mind into positive thoughts.

Meditation and yoga are a great way to fight stress they get the body relaxed. When stressed, the body automatically becomes tense, but with yoga and meditation you do the opposite. It releases tension and boosts joy and peace.

For me, when I get stressed, a good workout and good music sends me right back into control. They uplift me and allow my body to feel good.

I am not telling you all of this for no reason at all. I am telling you to encourage you and help you kick stress to the curb.

I know stress can overwhelm you sometimes and really make functioning properly really difficult, but that is why I want you to practice kicking it to the curb.

When it comes along, don’t let it control you and take you over. Once you feel it creeping in, get on the move to do something to beat it.

Don't let stress cage you, you can beat it.

YOU CAN DO IT.
