Go for It

Starting a new journey in life:

Sometimes in life we come to a low point and we begin to evaluate our lives. If you have ever asked yourself any of the following questions then you might be in need of a new path in your life.

  1. What am I doing with my life?
  2. Why am I always so miserable?
  3. What am I doing with my self?
  4. Why does nothing seem to go right for me?

I asked my self these questions a few months ago and realized the I was in need of change. Choosing to make a change is the first step of many. I didn’t know that I was going to make a change, something in me up took a small step and the rest followed. I had been following a woman on Instagram for a while. I watched her stories and saw what kind of work she was doing. At first I was not sure how I felt about her or her work, it seemed weird and strange to me. One day she posted something about a Yogini Priestess Path camp that the was doing and how there was only one spot left. Naturally I ignored it and moved on with my life. The next day or so and she posted again, something took over me, I sent her a message and asked her how I could be a part of this and how much does it cost me.

From there, I became part of this camp and I have not looked back. We are just in the beginning of the second month out of three months of these classes. We meet every week for a few hours, practice yoga and study. It is a camp only for women, women who are lost, women who need help or need something that the feel their lives are missing. Being in this camp I have already learned so much about my self and some much about these other women that it is changing my life for the better.

I was a very negative person, in pretty much every aspect of my life. I had negative thoughts about people around me, people I know and people I loved. Negative thoughts about my self, who I was and what I looked like. It was so easy to just be negative and mean, like second nature to me. I had to change my way of thinking, “reprogram my thoughts” into positive ones. I would be lying if I said I have no more negative thoughts any more, but I would be lying. I have moments of negativity in what ever way, but when they hit my mind I cancel them out and change my direction. Maybe I find something positive about the situation or maybe I just completely change the situation into a positive one.

I now see my self and my body and something beautiful and as a Goddess. Exactly what this class is teaching us, to be a Goddess, the feminine rising. I treat my body differently, give my body what she wants and honor her. This has not only changed my way of thinking and changed my life for the better. It also has changed the way that people see me. My close friends and my King can see that I am improving myself.

I share this with you all who are reading this not to brag or talk about myself, but to give you something to look at. Maybe you are in a similar situation or feel a certain way. Change it. Do something about it. Do not just sit there and complain or feel sorry for your self. Take action to become a better you. It is not as hard as you think.
