I'd love to tell you how beautiful my life has been. It would make me so happy to share stories of love and loyalty... tales of success, and strength and freedom. I could spread hope wrapped in sweet little lies. Or, I could stroke the ego of imagination and watch the mind orgasm in the bliss of ignorance. But, what good would that actually do?

Who would I really help? How would my words make a difference in your life, let alone the many I wish to impact with my work?! And the most important question... the one many of us have asked ourselves at some point in life. Why would anyone give a fuck what I have to say?!

As a teen, I would've offered you mental illusions of a prefect existence on earth. But, let's be honest, I've broken free from that set of illusions. I would be wasting my time and energy feeding into any illusions you're already holding in that beautiful mind of yours.

So, where does that leave us, you wonder? Well, I can say without hesitation, I am exactly where I’m meant to be! My question for you is, are you where you’re meant to be? If your answer is anything other than yes, my next question is... would you like to be?! Just wait, before you answer, there are a few things you should understand first.

My Promise to You

There will be no "beating around the bush," "sugar-coating," or "pity-partying" with any subject I share with you.

As I said, I would love to tell you how beautiful life has been. But, life is ugly more often than beautiful and I've learned the ugly teaches us respect and appreciation for the beauty scattered about.

This is going to get ugly honey! This will be short and often not-so-sweet. There's no time to tip toe around anymore! It's less painful if you get right to it. I'm not going to waste time crying to you about how shitty everything's been without offering solutions for change. I don't want anyone to cry for me. I want us all to stop crying!

If you'd like to join me, gain some Tsureal Advice, and find your own way to exactly where you’re meant to be, there's one thing you must do before continuing. You must promise yourself the same. Right now, before we go any further... you will:

Stop sugar-coating the shit in your life! It's shit! There's nothing you can do to change it into anything else. Flush that shit out of your life!

Stop beating around the fucking bush and mow that bitch down! Start saying exactly what you mean so there's no fucking confusion about anything, anymore.

Stop throwing lame ass pity-parties. they don't solve a damn thing. If you did it to yourself, shut up and deal with your fucking karma! And if someone else did it, get rid of their ass! It really is that simple to begin.

If you can honestly make these promises to yourself... if you are willing to do some deep self studying and find your way, I will walk/run/crawl with you. It will not be cute. It will be a roller-coaster of emotions, with no seat belt, plunging into self-love, self-awareness, and the understanding of the self: higher, lower, and all between. Now again, I ask, are you ready to join me?!

The next time our journeys cross paths, I will have a few thoughts for us to consider. Until then a small bit of advice to take with you and apply to each day... take a break.

I am a wife and mother of two teenagers. I am also a full time assistant manager and a part time college student, a puppy mom and an empathic worker. And, with all this on my path, I make sure to take a break from it all.
