Thoughts should be like flowers-LET THEM BLOOM!

Hey all, this is my first article on Vocal and I can't be more excited. Ever since I started jotting down my feelings in high school, I somehow started to love writing and the idea of how immensely it can relieve your stress and anxiety.

So for my first article, I thought of putting out my feelings as a young 23-year-old girl who is going through a life-changing phase in a completely new country. I moved to Toronto, Canada about two years ago, and I consider this as my best decision ever. I moved here to pursue my post-graduate education and now I am about to complete my school and enter into a completely new and strange phase of my life. Soon I will start to work full-time and the real struggles of life will begin. I can't say it is going to be easy but I am sure it's going to be worth it.

Everyone in my school and around me is in the rat race of finding a perfect job for themselves and settling down in some city with their partner. But I have something different for myself, I want to start working but simultaneously wish to start running my own business to experience the tough ordeals a business person faces and manage it through all tough times. If you are reading this, then I want you to know that these early years are the golden years of our life and if you want to experiment and explore then go for it. We are least responsible for anyone or anything at this time and these years can literally make us or break us. I know, sometimes we feel lost and lose the focus, but never forget to recollect yourself and start afresh. Even if you fail ten times, always remember that you are also learning ten new lessons (though the harder way). Introspect yourself and discover what is best for you and keep working on yourself every day until you achieve what you wanted in the first place.

I have a friend who keeps reminding me every day how great I am doing and then I have one friend who keeps telling me that I can do better. I like listening to both of them, but my mind knows that that one friend who motivates me to do better every time is the one who really wants me to be successful, and then you realize how important is to surround yourself with people who always encourage you and wish the best for you.

There is no perfect answer to what happiness is, what success is, everyone has their own definitions and understanding, but for happiness, it is anything that gives you a chunk of peace of mind and makes your day better, no matter if it's winning a lotto or just random appreciation from your boss. You have to start looking for a good in every bad and a bad in every good to train yourself for success.

For starters, I have started to get up early each morning to set up a schedule and try to follow it as strictly as possible. Utilizing and spending 86,400 seconds of each day is as important as any other essentialities of life, because no matter how capable human beings become they will never be able to turn back in time (if they do, I will definitely delete this article).

Each one of us should have a motive and a goal to work for, not only does it give us encouragement and direction but it also gives us the power of driving our own life. I am glad I have friends and family who support me in whatever I do and decide and I can't be more thankful. All of us have the wisdom and power of achieving great things in life, we just have to find them at the correct time.

Always remember that it is okay to fail but it is never okay to not even try.

Keep Reading, XoXo!
