The Choice

The sun shone through the tree standing strong in front of me as the fresh morning winds danced; a glowing ball of light, a crown of multi-colored rays gleamed as an aura encompassing the God of the sky. Looking so near to me, feeling as if I reached out just far enough, I could touch the lights. I tilted my head back, exhaling a gentle breath of smoke, leaves of yellow stretched out into the backdrop of the luminous skies; their colors illuminating presence of pure magic.

Looking up and out into the forest, I realized all around me is the magic—Now, in this moment. Acting as to avoid all disturbance at such a sight, I simply gazed out in embracing the unfolding alchemy before me. Nature, in all of Her spectrum, orchestrating harmonious symphonies of beauty. The Earth's ground, crawling in prehistoric ferns, capturing flickering fragments of light from the canopies. The transformation of colors, symbolic of the coming of Autumn, painting the depths of the forest with enchantment. Woven threads of silver gracefully drift in the whisper of winds. The activity of wild animals living amongst; their presence a mystery. As a river carries the currents, rushes of wildness were carried through me.

As I became absorbed within the moment of pure clarity, I began to hear the voices of the winds. Sending messages from beyond this space.

We are all sent here, from a place beyond us all. A place beyond our own minds and human understanding. We are given the power to reconnect to this place, this space, at any moment that we decide to show up for the magic. Although, our natural authenticity, our deep self, may have become covered over lifetimes, but we carry the rememberings, ancient knowings, within. Throughout life, the attachments and beliefs we create within our minds begin to build a finite perception of the world we exist within, and ourSelves. Believing we are controlled by these stories, we begin to feel stuck within a limited realm of existence. Layer upon layer, as we travel through our journeys, we unbury the natural harmony that continuously unravels itSelf in nature, and within us all. The force that animates the forms of Life in existence, that connects every living Being, is the force of authentic-self. A self of no judgement, no attachment, just BeIng.

We are free to unlayer ourSelves from the stories we have told, or have been told, and from the pasts and futures that we allow to control us. But, this is a choice we must make, or not make. To live righteously—to assume the responsibility to act out in wild divine liberation, to have a compassionate and patient perspective that we are all on this trip together, learning together, remembering together. When we awaken to the pure potential that we, and all of Life, is created from, we will realize that all is infinite.

We are able to learn, to grow outside of our perceived physical bodies and minds and live deeply with awareness. Perhaps the details, decisions and dramas that we at times get caught up in are opportunities to decide how we are going to express and act out in the physical world. Awareness give us the chance to choose if our actions will be a true expression of our authentic self or a reactionary action based on our limiting beliefs and caged habitual systems we have created internally.

We hold the paintbrush of our individual lives—each stroke acting as choice that leads us, ultimately, to our masterpiece. Our power is, we have the choice.
