Mythological tales may come from ages past, but they never lose their relevance, do they? The observational skills of our ancient ancestors and their ability to understand their surroundings, people, and nature remain impressive even today. So, why do I think this is the case? Perhaps it’s because of a problem of alienation that we’ve created with our technology and/or our pride. Could thinking we know more, result in rejecting the wisdom that came before us? Why don’t we see stories today that are as timeless and influential as mythological tales that still affect us today? In our ever-changing world, perhaps learning from the past and drawing inspiration from its time-tested stories is important.
