Have you ever felt like you couldn't put your feelings into words? well what you needed was a good quote! We've all been there when we have been searching for that one quote that we can send to someone or put as our profile picture to show friends how we feel. A good quote can change your mood, brighten your day, help you reminisce good times, or inspire you. There's a quote out there for every emotion and mood. They put your feelings into words. Below are my much-loved quotes, that have helped me re-focus or feel motivated. I hope some of these relate with you too.
My top 5 quotes:
You are your only competition. Don't look left or right, focus on your own goal. Comparing yourself to others will only distract you from being the best version of yourself. Sometimes we see other people post pictures of their holidays, parties, or fun days and then look around at our life and feel sad for no real reason. Everyone has those dull days, they just aren't posting about it. Don't compare your life to parts of someone else's life. They only show the parts that they want to show. It isn't the full picture.
The feeling of accomplishment is one of the best feelings. Strive for the best and don't stop until you can look at your achievements with pride and happiness. You can do it, believe in yourself. The best thing you could do for your future self is to start working on your goals today! Don't just think about your future plans, work on them. Make it happen, and one step at a time will get you there. There is no rush but there is a need for a little progress every day. Even if it's baby steps.
Rejection is hard but it could be a blessing in disguise. You should be positive with failure; it can't bring you down. I have dealt with many rejections and I just keep trying, the most important thing is to believe in your own capabilities and know that if you were not for them then they might not have been for you either. Not every rejection is a failure. You dodged a bullet. With that mindset, you will never give up on what is important to you. Life is not going to be easy, you will go down the wrong paths but notice the signs that send you another way. Have faith.
This one is my motto in life, live and let live! Judging someone else's actions won't help your journey in any way. Let others make mistakes and learn as you will too. If you feel someone is doing something that you do not agree with, sure you can let them know if they are your friend but don't be too invested in other people's dramas. You have your own life to live. You need to make your own memories, not be a part of everyone else. Go out and live life, don't worry about anyone else.
In a world like this, kindness is the least we can give each other. You never know the impact your kind words and gestures could have on someone's life. Do your little bit. If you see someone having a tough time, give them a smile, offer your help. Brighten their day. Give people compliments, we all need them. If someone is bothering you unintentionally, be patient. There is always a kind way to react to situations. You could make someone's day with your kindness, that is your super power. Use it more often.
