Lessons and Teachings from the Universe

Disconnection is the best connection

What can I say about life?

When you are a little girl and dream about being a grownup, you imagine everything perfect. You have an idea based on the way you are being raised and the example you are receiving from your parents.

Life starts unfolding and there you are getting married just like you thought you would and everything is in order and going according to plan. You have the job, the house, the car and the dog...

Years go by and one day you find yourself crying, divorced, and with kids to take care of on your own because “your prince” quit the story altogether. Not even part time... nothing at all!

What’s happening? What’s going on? Why me? You ask these questions over and over, you cry, you isolate yourself, you protest, you get angry, you cry more, and you basically go through all the emotions in the book!!

Then someone tells you “God doesn’t give you something you can’t handle” mmm maybe God confused me with Superman?? Wonder Woman?

The moment of breaking the silence has arrived and you decide to talk to God! To scream at him, to be mad at him until you just have no other option but surrender.

What is surrendering? It’s the peace you feel inside after the utmost desperation. It’s like giving a rest to your spirit, it’s hope and it’s letting go of the control you want to have over things.

Plans don’t exist anymore and the word trust gains a different perspective. Life has a weird way of teaching lessons but they get delivered even if you don’t want to accept them.

I believe we all come to this planet to experience a physical life where we can touch, eat, smell etc. I’m assuming in all other dimensions we are just spirits without a physical body.

Part of the package includes lessons that we need to learn and that we’ve agreed to beforehand in order to move to the next level.

I also believe all people we come in contact with are the ones that will help us achieve that purpose. Everyone is either your teacher or your student but there’s always a lesson with each encounter, even if it’s for less than a minute.

The more you resist the lesson, the more it will repeat itself. Maybe in a different scenario, maybe with different people but it won’t go away until it’s learned and conquered.

Years go by, one of your kids has moved away, the other one is about to graduate high school in 2 weeks and even though you are stronger and tougher than you’ve ever been, you are still human. You still feel the pain your kids feel sometimes. Especially during the important moments. You still think life has not been fair but at the same time you think it has been the most amazing roller coaster.

Now I know who I am, I know how love feels, I know how peace feels, I know what trust means.

I am not scared of anything or anybody and I know I have inside me everything I need to keep going, to solve whatever life throws at me. I can act and look like a lady but I can be a “handyman” if I need to be one.

Life has taught me so many things and I wouldn’t change it if given the chance. Why? because I might have lost people during the journey but I found myself and I found my center. I feel like a strong tree now. It can endure wind, rain, hurricanes but still stands.

I also learned to see life like a movie, I’m in it but I’m also outside watching it unfold and no matter what I know the place to go to find the peace I need... it’s been inside me all this time.

Sooo here it is. A piece of my story that hope touches someone out there and helps in any way.

“Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu” It’s a mantra in Sanskrit that means “May all beings be happy and free and may the words, thoughts, and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and freedom.”

Namaste 🙏🏻
