Introduction of ME

Welcome to my first post and story to introduce myself. I know boring right? I guess that will depend on your opinion of how you find me on first glance. My name is Camron and I have always dreamt of being a person who creates the ripples of change in the world. My aspirations of being involved with politics, theater, writing, and society have been a growing desire within the past two years after going through my first year of college. These two desires have brought me here to Vocal to create a starting point that I can jump from.

Throughout history you have a person who jumps into the lake of events erupting forth a new current of possibilities for different scenarios. I am striving to be that type of person by forming conversation on a variety of issues and stories, but also by creating stories based on current events. Change is never easy to create on a large scale when you have those who would want to keep the lake calm; however, one small ripple can create an entire lake to shake. With being on Vocal I hope to be a part of that creation and look forward to creating a voice for others by being a part of the conversation for once.

Whether that conversation takes place through politics, theater, writing, or the studies of society, I will create ripples. My background in these areas is limited study of how polls work, what many playwrights have discussed and open through their own plays and becoming a writer of my own stories. I was able to get a basic understanding of sociology as well which is the study of society and the current trends emerging from the different groups within our own county and world. While my knowledge is still limited, it does not mean I won't have informative articles on any topic I pick up since I will take research journals and articles from credible sources. Together of course I hope to gain more knowledge on topics everyone wishes to discuss or even push the envelope open on information people don't want to look at.

That is what has brought me here to Vocal. It provides an avenue to discuss and open dialogue and conversation on multiple fronts of interest to everyone across the United States and across the world. An informed public is the key to forwarding progress and understanding in any society. For myself, knowledge is always fun to discover no matter where I obtain it from.

If you’re the type of reader who enjoys well thought out ideas, theories, or even fun stories then I believe my articles will be the talk of your discussions as we look at the world in new perspectives. I want to get to know my readers as well though, so please don’t hesitate to get a hold of me and let me know what you’re hungry to read about. I promise my pieces will be well worth the read.

Besides this though, me, as in myself, well I’m an adventurer. I love anime, enjoy philosophy, the outdoors, science, theater, politics and enjoy having a good time with family and friends. I am a young adult who is gay and proud of who I am and won’t allow anyone to shun or silence me. My truth deserves to be shining and brought to the forefront. I will do that through my writing.

Writing is a form of expression and a way to evaluate and share new ideas with anyone. There is no real restriction to what a person can express and discuss as long as dialogue is open, and an intellectual conversation can take place. Let's continue informed discussions across the internet and become an informed populace together. This is my main goal and desire for the world. One person at a time.
