Are you having a bad day after day and had enough? Do you want to know how you make every day a great day? If so, I have put together a few specific steps that you should take each day if you really want to enhance your daily experience.

1. Find a mentor that inspires you daily

I encourage anyone who doesn’t have a mentor already, to seek one who inspires and challenges you, as it will only strengthen your overall outlook and, hopefully, shape your future positively. My mentors at current are Jordan Peterson and Tony Robbins, and I use them as leverage on where I want to be… so I suggest you find a mentor that shapes you on where you want to be. Still being you is important, and use their successes as tools to help you keep moving forward.

2. Become More resilient

Resilience refers to any individual differences or life experiences that might help people cope with crazy situations in a positive way by helping you deal with stress in the future, which also could prevent the development of mental disorders. Those who are more resilient are able to believe in themselves and their ability to effectively manage life’s challenges.

3. Planning and thinking for the future

Make a goal and stick to it. Work on it a bit everyday as you will more satisfied with your results if you know that most of what you’re doing fits into your long-term plans. This is only possible if you keep those plans and goals as one of your main priorities.

4. Pick something daily that is worthwhile doing

Hopefully what you're currently doing in life is a worthwhile choice, but if you’re stuck in a rut (it happens), make the extra effort to find something to do that makes a difference and improves the world.

5. Help someone less fortunate

Self-centered people are always unhappy because they concentrate all their energy into the bottomless pit of their egos. The best and easiest way to get over yourself is to do something for somebody who needs your help, or change someone's life. Have a look within your local community or surrounding areas for these opportunities.

6. Spend 30 seconds appreciating what you have

If you’re reading this blog post, you’re probably striving to achieve an even higher level of success. However, if you don’t stop and feel grateful, I guarantee that you won’t enjoy yourself when you get wherever you’re headed. When I normally wake up in the morning, I sit on the edge of my bed appreciating how lucky I am. It always starts my day positively.

7. Get sweaty

Do any sort of exercise for 5 to 25 minutes daily, set that alarm that little bit earlier every morning. Plan what you want to do the day before, either do cardio on a tready or a walk around the block. Maybe do a set of weights. Whatever you want to do, alls you need is to get a bit sweaty and your day will start great.

8. Give yourself a metaphor

Some people see life as a battle. Every encounter is a struggle, and if they don’t win, they feel like they have lost. Others view life as an adventure. A new day brings new opportunities to explore, and if something goes badly today, there’s always tomorrow. Collectively, metaphors not only help people describe and make sense of their lives, but can serve as a source of encouragement, motivation, or gratitude.
