Have you ever seen a dragon?

I did—in my dreams.

I always knew that human dreams have power. When we dream, our conscious speaks to us and all of the wonders in the world could happen, just when our eyes are closed. Sometimes, I would see dreams that later on would happen in real life. Now, I am not saying that I can see the future, but there is something in all of us, something that each human being need to recognize.

So, why I was dreaming about a dragon?! - My first question when I woke up.

Personally, I am obsessed with myths and stories of human existence. I believe in many mythologies and mysteries and I always wanted to have a time traveling machine to know and see, with my own eyes, what really happened in our history that all of us are taught in school. If I would have a genie in a bottle that would be my first wish.

I was told by many old and wise people that curiosity is the key to knowledge, so if you are curious, continue on reading! If you are not, well, continue on reading. :)

Going back to the actual theme of this story, I want to say that my dreams, sometimes, would not make sense at all. So, when I dreamt about a dragon, I didn’t really pay much attention to it and just forgot about it for a while. After a week of my dull life, I started to feel like the world hates me—I am sure everyone knows this feeling—and that no one needs or cares about me. I just felt depressed and couldn’t see the way out. So, I did what each girl, not generalizing, but assuming, does when she is depressed— chocolate and shopping. I went on Amazon, while eating cookies, and was looking up Chanel cosmetics, that I cannot afford anyway, and felt even more miserable. Out of nowhere, I saw a dragon necklace. I thought, it looks nice, why not try it? Referring back to my dream, a dragon that I saw looked like the one on the necklace and, of course, I thought that could be a sign. When it came, I was soooo happy, I even forgot to tip the delivery guy. I put it on my neck and, god forbid, it made me look fierce sexy!

I continued wearing the dragon on me for a few weeks and somehow, my life got better. I fixed the relationship with my mother. I always thought that we were not related, even though she gave birth to me. We became more close. I don’t know if it is because of the dragon power or my own actions, but I think it was magical. I started going to boxing classes and lost weight. Yay! Well, it was hell for a week, because my body felt like it was a 100-year-old car which is falling apart piece by piece. Anyway, losing weight is nice. Aslo, I earned a bit of money and got a promotion. I felt super confident those past few weeks. Never in my life I was that happy about myself.

I am pretty sure that dream of a dragon has a bigger meaning to it, but I’m glad I saw it and somehow, my conscious made me buy it on Amazon. Maybe I am a dragon lady inside, who knows?! I know that dreams may come true, maybe not the way you expect it, but they are possible. You only have to pay attention to the small details and little signs this universe gives you, each and every day.

Never underestimate the power of your dreams, because even if you are dreaming about a donut—your stomach is speaking to you!
