Are you having the best day of your life? Probably not. But that’s doesn't mean that today doesn’t matter. Every day matters. Every day is another chance to turn your life around. Most people would say they’re not living their life to its full potential or even enjoying their life at all. You only have one life to live. If you’re not living for yourself, who are you living for?

The first key is to include positive habits into your life. Stop listening to pointless gossip, stop making fun of the “weirdo” you saw on the train, stop watching TV for five hours a day, STOP wasting your time. We have so many resources and sometimes the productive information gets mixed up with the useless. Honestly, reading positive influential self help books will give you guidance. Let the millions of people who have been in your shoes guide you to your full potential.

Set yourself up with a morning and evening routine. Add value to your life and help yourself grow. Read, listen to influential podcasts, surround yourself with motivated people, or even join that club you’ve been scared to join. Doing the same negative things every day with no excitement isn’t helping anyone.

Daily habits will eventually become a routine. Once you have a productive routine set in place, new things will come. It’s important to spend your day with positive thoughts and habits. There’s so much negativity in this world and it sometimes rubs off on us. Eliminate anything that brings down your vibe. The only way to push through it is to focus on yourself. Of course you want to spend your life with people, but the right people will come along when you’re the best version of you.

Think about what truly makes you happy & go after it! One step at a time. Think about where you want to be in five years and what steps it’ll take to get there. Time will go by anyway. Why wouldn’t you use it to your advantage? Give yourself a game plan. Create daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly goals. The only way to take control of your life is to take control! Don’t let time slip you by. Don’t let negative people influence you. Don’t let negative posts on social media bring you down. Don’t let anything get in your way. Create the motivation to accomplish your dreams. 

Surround yourself with people who bring out the best in you. Don’t keep friends you don’t like, don’t date the boy or girl that’s treating you badly, and don’t let someone else’s negative opinion influence your decisions. It’s unhealthy to be around people that are constantly dragging you down. From my experience, the best decisions I’ve made in my life were cutting off the people who brought nothing into my life. Relationships and friendships are a two way street. There needs to something gained from both parties to continue the relationship. Take your life into your own hands. Your life... exactly YOUR life is supposed to be lived the way you want.
