Five Reasons You’re Not Moving Forward in Life

Five Things Hindering You from Getting Done What You Need

It was my fear of failure that first kept me from attempting the master work. Now, I'm beginning what I could have started ten years ago. But I'm happy at least that I didn't wait twenty years." Paulo Coelho

Five total time wasters:

1. Waiting for Inspiration

I know this sounds rather hypocritical considering my last article, but it's a major difference. If you take a day or two out of you schedule to go figure things out on your own, nothing is wrong with that. However, doing this too often may become a habit, and two days will turn to two weeks and your excuse will be, "I'm trying to find inspiration." Trust me, I've been there.

2. Being Scared of What People Might Think

We all have those times when we talk low, or keep our ideas to ourselves because it may seem ridiculous or irrelevant to others. Not everybody liked what Martin Luther King, Tupac, Malcolm X, Nipsey Hussle, or Huey Newton had to say but they still said it. They took action when others wouldn't, and were real until they died. That's why people had so much respect for them. It does not matter what they think because at the end of the day this is America, and the first Amendment speaks volumes. This applies to EVERYONE.

3. Procrastination

This has to be one of the most addicting habits. Once the cycle starts it's hard to stop, and I know this from experience. You don't want to become accustomed to that way of living, I promise you. Apply these three things everyday and you will find yourself more focused and dedicated to whatever it is you have planned. Most importantly, remember that this is a process and it will take more than a day to stop. You can do it!

  • Don't pick up your phone when you wake up.
  • Tell yourself that you're going to accomplish something.
  • Have the next day planned so you can have a set schedule.

4. Your Circle

The people you surround yourself with are a reflection of you, whether we want to believe it or not. You are what you eat, just like you're around who you want to be. If you're around a bunch of people who have promising futures and are always working on bettering themselves, what do you think you're going to do? Adapt to that environment. It works the same way with a group of people who sit around talk about what they wish they had and where they wish they were in life. There are two types of people in this world. The ones who talk the talk, and the ones who walk the walk. Which one do you want to be?

5. Lack of Mind Control

Sometimes we are our worst enemy. We set boundaries in our minds limiting us from ever reaching our full potential. If you tell yourself you can't do it, you won't. Stop settling for less than you KNOW you deserve. Some people are so ambitious but never act on it because of self doubt. Studies have shown that we only use 40 percent of our minds capability. Why? Self doubt. Stop doubting yourself. Block out the voices in your head telling you that you can't do it. Tell yourself that you can. Our mind is extremely powerful and it's up to us what we do with our advantage. Break that generational curse of poverty and do something meaningful with the profit. You can be whatever you want to be, but it won't be given to you. You have to put in work to get results.

The moral of the story is, if you want it, you have to do everything in your power to get it.

I’ll patiently wait for this to be sent back, I need the link LOL.
