Dedication = Wins

The Word That Separates Winners and Losers

If you don't love what you're doing, or you can't seem to find the energy to do what you're doing... then chances are you're not dedicated. Dedication is a heavy word that many take for granted such as words like "love" or "loyalty" and even words like "on the grind" or "entrepreneur" written all over their social media when the most they do is respond to their followers and sell promos for quick cash.

I've seen it plenty times before and I've also experienced this through countless conversations with people I've met and known. It starts off positively through discussion of what they want to do in life and what it takes to get there. But once the conversation gets deeper, the tone of their voice and emotion changes from motivated and hyped to fearful, angry rebuttals. I can pool enough similar conversations together to conclude that all of these "hopefuls" start to show their true colors and intentions when they realize their words won't match their actions when challenged with a few questions.

Dedication is what this generation seems to lack. I grew up without confidence being instilled in my life. My family was little, and the emotion was scarce of existence in my lifespan with my family. Understanding what dedication is and the power of the word itself is exactly what you need to learn in order to have a successful career and life in literally any facet of choice. Creating a plan is the start of dedicated people's success stories.

If you really want a job where you're happy and satisfied, then why are you watching youtube and eating out every day after going to your crappy job? Why are you sleeping 12 hours a day or staying in bed watching Netflix and Hulu? If you feel personally attacked or offended by these questions then you know what I'm talking about and you don't want to accept it. I was there, I was that person who wouldn't leave their room 16 hours a day and would work a part-time job for almost two years before actually kicking my own a** and shaping up to be something I won't regret in 10, 20, 30 years. Countless times have I had debates with people on their reasoning behind those decisions to NOT put in the work.

Don't disrespect the word Dedication or Entrepreneurship by slinging them around when you're just someone who watches eight hours of TV a day without putting in any effort into their personal success. If you need motivation, help with dedicating your time and energy into your passion then let me know. I've turned my life around from a kid who worked 3 days a week at a job he was tired of, went home after work to watch 6-8 hours of Netflix or play video games, ate until I was fatter than I've ever been. I would go to sleep depressed, I would wake up depressed and I never took care of my relationship like I should have.

I now wake up every day, with the perseverance, motivation, and dedication to live out my dreams, building them on my own to achieve the happiness I strive for. I'm now happier than I can remember with a fire in my soul that burns harder every day. Please take the time to do what you love doing and don't let fear make you tip-toe through life.. you've only got this ONE life and you're willing to give up all that success and happiness because you're scared of the "what-if's?" You'll Regret it.
