The Simple Art of Creation

The simple art of creation. It touches us in many ways, it fills us with something beyond words. A lasting experience that dwells in our hearts.

Creation is many things. Everyday we are creating, we are creating life and energy as we move about our lives. Projecting whatever energy we are feeling out into the world, creating something new with every interaction.

We be and we see with eyes that create. Perception is creation, cause at every moment of perception we observe what is around us and create an idea of what we see. Understandings are creations, judgements are creations, beliefs are creations.

Now we ask ourselves. How do these creations make us feel?

Create the creations that make you feel good.

Create the creations that make others feel good.

Create with intention.

Create with love.

Create with harmony.

Create yourself.

Now at first glance this may not make sense for some people. Many of us don't see ourselves as creators, and this is where we make a shift in our perspective. Forget about your idea of creation for a moment and take a step back. Open your eyes to all that is around you, everything is a creation, whether it is a chair, tv, carpet, or tree. Everything was created by someone or something, whether thats you or mother nature. Now look at the smaller things, the stuff that isn't necessarily physical. The smile on your spouses face, the freshly packed lunch for your child, the feeling of happiness within yourself, or even the feeling of sadness. All of those came from somewhere, were the creation of someone. A smile is created by the smiler but is also created by the one that sparked the feeling of happiness, of joy. Now we see that in every moment we are creating, we are creators. Seek to create a happier life by creating happiness within. This happiness within can be the outcome of many things, it can come from the gratitude you create, it can come from the smiles you create, it can come from the love you create.

Now what about the sadness. The creations that aren't so favourable. What do we do with them, how do we stop them from being created? All this comes with awareness. Be aware of the creations you are creating, every interaction, every word you say, every thought you think. See what direction those are taking you, are you separating yourself from others, are you berating yourself, are you freely expressing all that you are feeling? Now this may be easier said then done, it takes practice you guide yourself to only create the "happy" creations and to stop creating the "sad" creations. But it is in the realm of possibility for everyone.

Now many self made creations seem to be created by someone else, such as a event that occurs that is supposedly out of your control, and how it makes you feel. But we ask ourselves, does everyone feel the same way when they experience something tragic, or fail? No is the answer. People have infinite ways to perceive an event. Many might feel sadness, many might feel nothing at all, many might even feel a sense of completion or gratification. These varying responses are all dependent on the perspective of the perceiver, you yourself can shift your perspective from one moment to the next and with the shift a shift in feeling occurs, one can go from sad to happy in a moment.

Now we see. Perspective is everything. It guides what we create within, if we are feeling a certain way that is unfavourable, seek to change your perspective. It may take time to find the perspective that makes you feel better but it is worth trying, because once a perspective is found it cannot be lost.

Now, be happy. And be yourself. Create what creates more happiness.
