Body Positivity

Our world needs more body positivity!!! Each and every one of us is different and there is no need to harass others for who they are and how they look.

How we SEE ourself affects us emotionally, mentally, and physically. A poor body image comes from NEGATIVE thoughts and feelings about our appearance. A healthy body image comes from nice thoughts and feelings that are POSITIVE. If someone doesn't have positive thoughts about oneself, they will have a negative image of their body.

How we feel about our body image and how other people see us impacts our SELF-ESTEEM greatly. How we think and feels about ourselves is extremely important for us as humans. For example, if a person is calling you names and telling you some mean or hurtful things, it'll impact your self-esteem and how you see yourself. It may make them hate themselves or it may even make them want to hurt or kill themself, which breaks my heart.

We are all different and we all come from different backgrounds. We have different colored skin, eyes, different noses, and hair. Some of us have different bone structures and even are missing limbs or have an extra bone or two (like my momma), so why do we continue to say we are the same on the inside? Each person is different and unique in our own ways and it's about time we put a STOP to judging people by how they look. What matters is who they are as a person, not how they look...

In TODAY'S society, there are so many unrealistic body ideals and images. In magazines, we see unusually thin women and very fit men with lots of muscle. If someone is chunkier than other men and women they begin to feel fat because those standards shown in magazines make a person feel like that is what they should look like when it is not. Not every person needs to be a size 0, 1, 2, 3... According to magazines and other forms of media, men and women aren't supposed to have much meat on their bones. Women are expected to weigh something like 120 and a man is expected to weight an average of 170 or more depending on their height. Weighing over that and looking chunky throws a person under the "overweight/obese" category and women in the modeling industry are then considered a plus sized model. I honestly LOVE how plus-sized women look! They all look so beautiful with their chunky curves! It makes me really sad that we even have labels for models based on their size and how they look.

I myself have realized how hard it is to not get caught up in comparing myself to other women or to these UNREALISTIC standards. I actually am working on getting back to my perfect pre-pregnancy weight, 130, by exercising and taking TeGreen tablets (a product I sell) made from Green Tea. Poor self-esteem because of all these standards, and name-calling is one of the main reasons as to why many people, men and women, experience depression, anxiety, anger, and even self-loathing. In all honesty, I think I have all four maybe more, which is why I take my favorite CBD oil. I've had my flaws rubbed in my face many many times and rather than ignoring them, I let it affect me when I shouldn't have. It finally stopped when I began to ignore all the negative things people say and EMBRACED my flaws and my ISSUES! Those flaws are what makes myself and everyone else UNIQUE. It makes me who I am and you who you are!

The best thing YOU can do is ignore those names and ignore the negative things people say. The only thing that matters is that you are happy with your body and who you are as a person. If you're not happy with how you look or who you are, ONLY then should you change it! If you are satisfied with who you are and how you look, just be HAPPY!
