United by Division
I have two eyes, two ears, a nose, skin, muscles, veins, hair, teeth, a nervous system, various organs, bones, and a highly developed brain. I have fears, joys, habits, emotions, and feelings. I have the innate ability to learn from my mistakes, but I don't have to. I can literally, physically, and directly impact the environment that I live in, though I often choose to turn a blind eye. I am a monster. I am a healer. I am a force of nature. I am fragile. I am human.

Culturally Unaffiliated
Watching a group of people perform a Haka is something that you don't forget. A Haka is a ceremonial Maori challenge. It's listed as a dance, but it feels, look, and sounds like that definition doesn't quite fit the bill. Each Haka is unique to that group of people, and it stands an unquestionable symbol of unity, strength, and the bond shared by the people involved in it.

Gem of The Pacific Northwest
Gem Of the Pacific Northwest North Bend, Oregon We all live in a metaphorical snow globe. Now, before I get tarred and feathered as some sort of conspiracy theorist, let me explain. Our snow globe is our scope of understanding of the world surrounding us. The more of the world and people you meet and experience, the larger your snow globe grows. The theory invites exploration and travel with the byproduct being growth and evolution. My snow globe began in North Bend, Oregon.

The Choices We Make
The Choices We Make: 20,000 Reasons to Bend The past year of my life was, by far, the most difficult to date. The small business that I had worked so hard to build had fallen victim to the pandemic. I had taken up part time driving for Uber, and it had sufficed to pay the bills. It wasn’t great work, but it did have it’s perks. Since the bars were closed down, there were far less late night calls from people who had over indulged. Though the conversation was all but predictable, it was nice to hear people’s perspectives on how 2020 had affected them. Good and bad.

The War on Words
Human beings are funny creatures. It's said that most of our communication doesn't even happen through words, but body language. How does that apply when speaking to yourself though? What's the "body language" of your inner voice? Let's dive in, shall we?
