Movie Review: 'The Haunting of Sharon Tate'
The movie poster for The Haunting of Sharon Tate is as brilliant and straightforward as the production itself. For the audience who is acquainted with the gruesome real-life tragedy, there's no hiding that the dramatization about to take place is sinister. Director Daniel Farrands does a fantastic job of building and maintaining the movie's natural tension, keeping in mind that a shorter film is more precise. For me, the most impressive part of The Haunting of Sharon Tate is that there isn't an extreme focus on the media circus that took place after the Tate and LaBianca murders. Instead, we're left to re-imagine Tate's perspective and those who died with her that night. Shortly before her death, Sharon was troubled by her relationship issues with French film director, Roman Polanski. He was not present on the night of August 9th, 1969.

Is King Liam the Most Logical Choice in 'The Royal Romance?'
Maxwell Beaumont is a better choice than King Liam. Yeah, I said it. Having chosen King Liam three times in many different gameplays, I came to the conclusion that Maxwell Beaumont is a better choice—but not necessarily a wiser one. In fact, the steadfast Maxwell is only hinted to be an eligible suitor until the end of Book One. Up until that moment, your main character's affections are split between King Liam, Lady Hana Lee, and Drake Walker. The Royal Romance, brought to us by Pixelberry, is one of the most in-depth stories of its repertoire.

'Blair Witch' Game Review
I'd never watch this movie again. The independent film The Blair Witch Project was released on August 1999 on a limited budget that would reflect in its overall production. Despite its use of improvised resources, The Blair Witch Project ended up grossing approximately 248.6 million dollars at the box office and went on to become one of the most important horror movies of the time. As a teenager who was more into Animaniacs and Lizzie McGuire than I was a fan of movies, this isn't the type of scary movie I'd recommend to break you into the genre.

'The Jack In The Box' Trailer Review
Luckily, I never had a jack in the box toy when I was a child. I was born during the 90s, so they might've not been as popular among kids. Imagine yourself as a toddler and getting this monstrosity with your chicken nuggets. The premise of the upcoming horror movie, The Jack In The Box, doesn't even feature kids in its official teaser, released at the end of July. Matter of fact, there's just one character with dialogue in the entire trailer, because the focus is on establishing an eerie atmosphere.

Game Review: 'Doki Doki Literature Club'
I'll admit it—I chose to play this game for all the wrong reasons, and it turned out to be the best, yet most petrifying mistake I've made. Thanks, Team Salvato! Released in September of 2017, Doki Doki Literature Club, DDLC for short, took online gaming by storm. At first glance, DDLC is an impressive, very well-written visual novel with undertones of Yandere Simulator in its artistic style. Visually representative of four special school girls, DDLC's pink, cutesy artwork will lead anyone into a false sense of security.
