Love, Lust, and Lies Chapter 4
As the week went on, Cassie became more and more nervous and doubtful. Her over active brain began forming hundreds of possible reasons why Andrew hadn't given her a definite answer there and then. The main reason which was winning out was that she had caught him so off guard that he hadn't known how to react, maybe he hadn't thought anything more of their acquaintance and so Cassie's sudden revelation knocked him for six? Round and round these thoughts went, one minute she was sure, the next she was doubtful again, it was tiring! One thing was for certain, when Saturday came around again, the butterflies in her stomach were having a full on rave, making her feel a little sick as she drove to the gym.

Love, Lust, and Lies Chapter 3
'I can't believe he's not here,' Cassie thought to herself. It was Sunday morning at the gym and there was no sign of the mystery man. Cassie felt really low and struggled to get motivated in her workout. She tried to mentally shake herself, telling herself it was stupid to let this effect her so much, he might be ill or busy, its not a big deal. She stayed a lot later than usual just in case he was running late, but no luck, she'd just have to wait until next weekend and hope he was there.

Love, Lust, and Lies Chapter 2
Cassie checked her reflection one last time, giving herself a cheeky smile before heading out of the house. The butterflies in her stomach were doing summersaults with nerves and excitement, she could barely sit still as she drove along. She was on her way to gym of course, where else would she be heading on a Saturday morning. She needed her next fix, she needed to see him. It had been a long week thinking over and over that first conversation, reading too much into it and then telling herself it probably meant nothing before cycling back to thinking it meant something again! But it was finally Saturday and very soon she would be seeing him, "I wonder what his name is," she mused, "and what he does? He doesn't look like a manual worker, he seems too refined, maybe a business man?" The thoughts whirled around in her head until she pulled into the car park and then they were replaced by nervous thoughts of what she would say to him and whether she would make a fool of herself.

Love, Lust, and Lies
Cassandra Knight, what are you doing with your life! She thought to herself as she stepped into the shower. She turned the water on full blast and started to wash away the scent of Daniel, with whom she had just spent a quick half hour fumbling around with. Daniel was a playboy, and not even a very good one. That was the second time she had seen him and, as far as she was concerned, the last. They met at work. Daniel was one of the managers there and had recently started pursuing Cassie not so subtly. Standing in the shower, almost disgusted by his smell, Cassie wondered if she had actually ever liked him. No, she thought, it was the thrill of the whole thing that attracted her. Suggestive emails and illicit meetings after work had excited her but now that initial thrill had gone she had no interest. Maybe it would have been different if he'd been a decent lover... but he wasn't. The sad thing was, Daniel had been her first; she hadn't told him that as she wanted to seem more experienced—she was 23 after all! A late starter some might say, but Cassie had a theory, which was that she had always been attracted to older guys and only know that she was maturing, had they started to take an interest in her. Whatever the reasoning behind it, the short affair with Daniel had awoken a new side to Cassie, a confident and alluring side that she was keen to explore. After that second meeting, she cut ties with Daniel and as luck would have it, he moved jobs soon after which saved any awkward experiences at work.
