What is numerology?

The beginning of numerology is somewhat of a mystery. Some of the first written records of numerology appear in Egypt and Babylon. There is also compelling evidence that numerology was used thousands of years ago in China, Rome, Japan, and Greece. Numerology has been found to stem back all the way to BC a practice even our ancestors were familiar with.

What is a life path number?

The way life path numbers work is understanding that when your soul starts its' journey, it begins at the number one. Each number is associated with a life lesson, if you conquer your lesson then in your next life you will be a number two, and so on. The numbers range from one to nine. These are considered the "human numbers." Your life path number is one of the most important number in your chart. It reveals your greater purpose, including strengths, weaknesses, talents, and ambitions. It also exposes what state your soul is in giving you an idea of how old your soul is. And can give you a sort of understanding to all the madness in life. Remember your life path number takes your entire life to master and isn't always easy, but you were given what you can handle.

What is a master number?

If your soul masters all the numbers mentioned above, one to nine, your soul then enters into the master numbers, 11, 22, and 33. These numbers hold more energy and connection to the spiritual world, however, they are very difficult numbers to conquer in life and come with great responsibility.

How to Calculate Your Life Path Number

Being with your birthdate.

For example, if you were born on March 9th, 1985, the date and month reduced would give you the numbers 3 for March and 9 for the day.

(If your month or day is a two digit number add both numbers together until you have a single number.) Example: December, 22nd.

December: 12th month, 1+2 = 3

22nd: 2+2=4

When it comes to the year, you’d add 1 + 9 + 8 + 5, which would give you the number 23.

Then, add 2 + 3, which would give you 5.

At this point, you’d have three single-digit numbers (one for the date, one for the month, and one for the year): 9, 3, and 5.

You would then add these three numbers together until you have just one single-digit number left.

In this example case, 9 + 3 + 5 would give you 17.

Then, 1 + 7 would give you 8 your life path number.
