One late night, full of thoughts. Sitting by the harbor. Spending time with myself. Reflecting.

1. What am I most proud of?

I'm most proud of everything that I've been through and the person that I've become. All of the pain that I've been through and dealt with alone and come out stronger from. From my sheltered past to becoming my own person and developing my own ideas and opinions. Achievement wise, winning a state championship.

2. Who inspires me? Why do they inspire me?

I don't really derive much of my inspiration from others because that's how you start to compare yourself if you aren't careful. But, I would probably have to say one of my more recent, but most genuine friendships with someone named Jaime. She has accomplished so much and is everything I strive to be in life, health, and as a partner. It's incredible how she is able to balance it all and be such an incredible human.

3. What does my ideal morning look like?

My ideal morning would be getting coffee at my favorite local coffee shop, Foundation then working out, grabbing some food, and spending the whole day at my favorite beach, Indian Rocks Beach with the people that I care about most. With some awesome tunes of course.

4. What would I tell me future self/childhood me?

I would tell myself everything that I've learned about myself and these past two years. Everything that I've written in reflection... to my younger self.

It's so important to remember where you come from and what all you've been through. But, it's equally important to not let it hold you back, not let it define you. You can't see how far you've come if you can't see what's all behind.

5. In the next month, I want to…

Be at a better point academically. Find a better balance with everything currently going on in my life. Listen to more good music. Make more memories. Continue to grow. Figure out how to adult.

6. I am grateful for…

The life that I have. The freedom I have. My health. My parents. My mind. My love. And everything else that stresses me out but that I am incredible fortunate to have the opportunity to do and pursue.

7. I need more _______ in my life because…

Laughter and silliness in my life because sometimes I need help remembering that life isn't all seriousness and that it's okay not to be perfect. It's okay not to have it all figured out.

8. What do you want most in life?

I want to find a balance in all aspects of my life that I'm able to live without worry and become the best version of myself. I want to love what I do, build meaningful friendships, and be able to make incredible memories in breathtaking places.

9. Where do I see myself in 6 months?

I see myself graduated, still working at the same place, but a lot less stressed. I see myself enjoying life for once without school. Almost a fresh start. Figuring out and making my car situation work.

10. What is one important lesson I learned this week?

That no matter what you go through and how stressed and frustrated you may be, the right people will stay by your side and support you and be able to put a smile on your face.

Feeling weird cause I am not in school but feel like I should be. I'll be more "adult" stable. I'll be living my best life.

13. If I had $1,000,000, I would…

Give some to my parents. Invest a good portion of it. Give some to a charity that is close to my heart. Travel. Put some in savings. Pay off my car and loans. Take bae on a shopping spree to out to a nice dinner to start.

14. What are 10 things that make me happy?

Writing. Bae. New cool places to eat. Coffee shops. Music. Earning money. Feeling accomplished. Buying whatever I'm currently collecting. The Chainsmokers. Local events and concerts/festivals.

15. If I could travel anywhere, where would I go and why?

Greece. 'Cause it's been my dream for forever. I just wanna swim in the crystal clear waters that make Greece look so iconic.

16. The person I am most thankful for is…

My parents for adopting me. But, also the person who truly broke my heart for the first time. Because without that, I wouldn't be the person I am today and wouldn't have grown so much or learned so much about myself and life.

17. What inspires me?

Being recognized and rewarded. Being impressive. Me being a perfectionist. Wanting to be better and do better for myself.

18. Something I hope to achieve in the next 5 years is…

Paying off my car and student loans.

19. Are you currently the person you thought you would be?

I never thought that I would be the person I am today. But I mean that in the best way possible. I love who I am today and think that I turned out damn well. Past me wouldn't think that, but past me didn't know who she was or what she wanted or believed in apart from her parents.

20. What does your ideal significant other look like?

Someone who compliments me and understands me. Someone who just gets it and is on the same level as me emotionally and intellectually.

21. Would you change anything about yourself?

I wouldn't. Because everything that makes me unique is such a vital part of me and to change that would mean to lose a part of myself. Anyone who is meant to be in my life will love me for who I am and everything that makes me, me.

22. A long term goal I have is…

Travel frequently. Own a house. Pay off all my bills and loans. Enjoy life to the fullest. Start my own business.

23. What experience are you most thankful for?

It would be easy to say the good. But, in all reality I'm most thankful for the pain. The struggles and the heartbreak because those are the moments where you choose to be knocked down or knock it down. To be better or bitter. To be overcome or overcome it. And a lot of times the only person you have is you and that is where your true strength is found.

24. What do you appreciate about life?

Life moves so fast, but it's important to take a moment to just stop and appreciate the very fact that you're alive and that the things you take for granted others would die for. I appreciate a lot of things but having the life I have and being alive are definitely at the top of my list.

25. What are my strengths?

Confidence. Humor. Intelligence. Drive. Effectiveness. Detail-oriented. Height. Taste in music. Wittiness. Straight forward. Loyal. Trustworthy. Follows through on word. Actions over words.

26. What are my weaknesses?

Working on these (awareness is the first step): Ability to take constructive criticism. Being too serious. Not always the best at conveying things in softer terms. Taking things personal.

27. If I could wish for anything, I would wish for…

Everyone to be genuinely good humans and choose love over all else.

28. What am I afraid of?

Failing. Not being good enough. Sometimes confrontation. Rejection (dependent on situation). Being stripped of my independence. Losing myself.

29. I want people to think of me as...

A good person. A leader. Someone they can look up to and trust. Someone that brings value to their lives. Respected and loved.

30. What type of legacy do I want to leave behind?

That I made a difference by being a good person and touching the lives of others. That I helped others by sharing and connecting. That I stood for something bigger than myself.

Bonus: Do you love yourself? Really?

Yes, I do. It took a long time for me to become someone that I was truly proud of and love, but I love who I am. Part of learning to love yourself is finding yourself, discovering who you really are.
