10 Aspects of Life I Learnt!

Why would anyone want to read someone else's lessons? I know most of us would not be interested in doing so; after all, the life experiences of an individual vary from person to person. We also see, nowadays, families getting more nuclear and lives becoming more personal and also busier. It, all the more, becomes important to learn from someone's experience before life can intervene.

To point out what I have learnt and want to share with everyone, my only goal is to motivate you to not make the same mistakes I made. These lessons are the ones that taught me something new about life.

Teachings of My Life

1. Emotions come with a price. Let it be any emotion or feeling you can think of; let's say it is love, hate, anger, happiness, sadness, peace, etc. To love someone, you need understanding, trust, loyalty, and support. This needs time. So to acquire the emotion called love and its pillars, the price becomes time. If you think about it, every other emotion we can think of calls for a price. Hate's price is losing the person or thing you hate. Anger's price is hate or dislike. Happiness's price is time and sacrifice. Sadness's price is happiness.
2. Intuitions and love are not felt for strangers. P.S. Always keep them close. These people you love are in your life because they are, in some ways, just like you and have the potential to understand you.
3. If someone tries to discredit you just because you look, feel, or sound different, these beings deserve no space of your heart or life.
4. THE ONLY THING THAT MAKES YOU PERFECT IS WHEN YOU KNOW, YOU ARE NOT PERFECT. You cannot compete with everyone, you cannot be at two places at once. Imperfections allow you to learn something new every time, they allow you to taste the sweetness of success; whereas a perfect person already knows the lesson, and that makes it easier for him to do anything and not know what success means.
5. You might fear many things in life: the fear of losing, fear of failing, making mistakes, or dealing with unknown. Whatever reason be, always remember, it's a very small part of a big plan. So, messing up or mistakes won’t really matter.
6. We want approval from people we want to stay with, and we want appreciation from people we care about. Don’t forget that even if you don’t have these people in your life, especially the ones you want to stay with or when no one pays attention to you, you always have YOU. You are powerful enough to get through anything in life ALONE. Anyone who wants to join will be there with you eventually.
7. The consequences of a decision decide whether it was good or bad; until then, a decision is just a thought. The power of making a decision rather than running from it decides an individuals' success.
8. There are no happy endings or sad endings in real life. Life only ends with life, which is after leaving this world. The whole idea is to keep walking and enjoy your journey towards the end. Hence, it's the journey that is happy or sad.
9. Light cannot break through walls. If you want hope and peace to radiate in your life, building high walls or judging the world with respect to your experiences closes doors that can allow the light of hope in your life again.
10. Sometimes a person in need only needs an ear to listen. There is more power of expression when expressed in silence, and the greatest help is to understand.
